Great little park along the Niagara Parkway away from the touristy Clifton Hill . Great for picnics with the family or scenic walks along the paths.
A peaceful place in nature with lovely birds. great for BBQ .
Free parking if you don't mind a bit of a walk to the Falls . Plus, it's beautiful, peaceful , full of birdsong and other forest critters.
Nice quiet place to get away from the tourist trap of the falls itself

Not really islands so much as a bunch of ponds . Not much to see. Walk to the falls is around 20 minutes.
It was alittle dirty the water not like when I was a child but we were just driving through going to marineland
