Rustic restaurant in a great location, right at the water's edge. Nice friendly staff delivers excellent service. Anything on the menu is fresh and mouth watering.

Amazing fish . Their platter is worth to try - by far! Wine list is ok - you can find what fits the meal (try Sauvignon!). Ousters are nice... And that's not expensive at all!

The Brass Bell is a must visit when in Kalk Bay. The seating is built out into the sea, so it unfortunately gets flooded when there are unusually high tides. Good selection of food. Reasonably priced.

Even if I didn't have the opportunity to watch any whales, the food was good and the view really picturesque.

Kalk bay is good for a half day trip; plenty of antique stores along the beech; Brass Bell is good for drinks.

I must say, the quality of the seafood has gone down significantly. It is sad if you can get better seafood in Gauteng than right next to the ocean.
