really great place to sit outside and enjoy a cold one on a nice day. Nelson was a surprisingly fun town to check out in between Abel Tasman visits.
Nelson is the home of Macs apparently? Either way it's my fav NZ beer . Cool atmosphere and friendly service .

Great lamb burger and a large selection of craft beers
Garlic shrimp were quite good, but avoid the falafel . Truly terrible. Good quality beer as well .
Get down to The Vic & try the Ribs - They are awesome!!

Spent a bit of time downtown looking for a playoff American football game and the sports pubs were no help. The staff at the hotel bar put the game on and were super friendly and helpful! - mr pinto
