The Forest Preserve District of Will County's Joliet Iron Works Historic Site provides a parking area, shelter (with electricity), latrine, water fountain, and access to a 0.59-mile self-guided tour trail and the 10.81-mile, paved/limestone I&M Canal Trail/Centennial Trail.
