Awesome historical place, it's huge and you'll need quite a bit of time to walk around. Worth it nonetheless. Get a book guide!

Best to wear proper shoes or sandals as it is dusty and has a fair bit of walking. Don't forget to read up so you can imagine the once magnificent Zeus temple .

You must visit it in early morning (8-10am) or late afternoon (6-8pm) because it is very hot.

Mítico lugar !!!, se recomienda zapatos cómodos, su botella de agua , protección solar y su sombrero o vicera, ya que en primavera y verano es bastante el calor, no olvide visitar el estadio Olímpico

Katakolon is a small interesting one street village with a good variety of shops, lots of coffee bars and eating places. Worth staying in the village if you do not want to go on a bus tour - Keith Bark
