To the right of the museum & up the hill is the entrance of rehabilitated old mine (for only a few hundred meters deep on the first level), for an excellent glimpse of life in the Eldorado of the east
Small museum but packed with rich background of this mining town . RM2 per entry. Kids are free.

Muzium is okay but the road to get there is very small

Mengetahui sejarah di sebalik perlombongan bijih timah dahulu.

Take the ride from Majlis Perbandaran Kuantan It's 150 yards from the Big Famous tree. It's RM18 which includes the RM15 entrance tickets to the mine. It's Great value. - John Lim
