My mom goes there almost every year. Take a walk/run in the early morning. Stay near baoleqiao. Eat veg meals. Drink some tea . Hike the north summit. I love the experience since I was young.

Must see if you are in Hangzhou, the Buddha's carved in stone look amazing. For the temple inside you have to pay extra but it's wroth it.

Amazing place, I suggest coming here as early as you can, otherwise you will be fully surrounded by travelers and believers.
