Provides a very intimate view into the life and death of Queen Victoria and her family. The grounds are beautiful in all weather. Hopefully they will spend a few quid replastering some of the rooms.
Stunning stately house, full of history. must do if you are in the island . The Indian inspired room was just beautiful. Lovely garden with a nice walk down to the private beach of Queen Victoria.
Definitely one of the most beautiful palaces I have ever visited! I understand now why Queen Victoria loved it & chose to spend most of her life there. Such a historical delight & amazing grounds!
Highly recommend Queen Victoria’s retreat, the house is stunning, lovely walks to her private beach and Swiss cottage . A step back in time and a wonderful place.
An unforgettable experience to visit Osborne House such a warm house where you can see the real Queen Victoria and things she held dear
Lavishly decorated Italianate villa purchased by Queen Victoria as a Summer residence. Run by English heritage.
It’s an interesting look into the life of Queen Victoria and her family. It’s a bit disappointing that there isn’t more information as you go around but the volunteers are excellent.
Gorgeous house. Some of the restoration didn't seem genuine, like paint work and carpets but it was interesting to see an insight into their home life.
Must watch Victoria & Abdul movie before you come here.
Stunning views . Don't forget to walk down to Queen Victoria's private beach in order to check out her 'bathing machine'.
It worth spending time in the gardens and especially strolling down to the beach
A must see on the IoW, but the cafe is best avoid unless you like platic-y baguettes courtesy of Elior.
Don't forget to go onto the terrace and the walled garden will be an explosion of colour in summer.
Queen Victoria’s Home ... location for ‘Victoria & Abdul ’ & ‘Mrs Brown’ ... 2 great films of her later life!
