Great location by the canal . Great food and beer (doom bar - a long way frm Cornwell). Also an Innkeepers Inn so good value accommodation in a nice pub .
Glorious Turkey & Stuffing roast! Did just the trick for my hangover. Also, the waitress we had was a little gem.
Re-opened after a refurb in April 25 and renamed 'The King's Arms'. It was the venue's original name and sits next to The King's Arms Bridge .
Slow cooked pork belly with scallops . Mash was yummy.
It's lost its appeal since it changed from The Heron's Nest; the menu is a little bland and the prices have increased. It's posher than it used to be, too.
Real ale on tap and good pub grub
