The best meal we have had thus far in Cape Town. 2 salads , 3 sharing plates, desert and a bottle of white wine for 750R. Exceptional value and delicious flavourful food! We will be back!

Well the have chips with interesting mint peas was ENOUGH for 2+the butternut feta pastries were delish *the salted caramel cheesecake really topped that meal of perfectly! LA Motte was a great wine

We had an amazing dinner . Starters Camembert and Calamari followed by ostrich and lamb . And with a super delicious finish: Creme brûlée and the special with popcorn . Great wines , awesome location!

Went for lunch yesterday with colleagues. Fabulous food, lovely winter fires in each room and a cozy setting. Definitely worth a visit when in Cape Town. Warning, lunch time parking a real problem!

Great rustic interior makes you lose sense of time. Tried a lot of small plates and nothing disappointed. Extensive & delicious drink & cocktail options (one had a bit too much syrup though).

Ostrich fillet was fantastic. Slow cooked lamb if you’re a fan of lamb . Tomato soup was perfect, a little sweet just the way I prefer it. Do not leave without trying the CARAMEL CHEESECAKE!

Spring rolls are so good and the lentil bake was delicious (salty but delicious). My companions also raved about the filet mignon and the ostrich. The ambiance is amazing. Outside is heated.

Lovely place, great service. Avoid herb butter with steak - I don’t know how they’ve replicated the taste of Burger King but they have. The steak is great; watch the butter.
