Try the potatoes . Jk. We had the Trier special, bratwürstchen and sauerkraut mashed potatoes , roast pork and fried potatoes , and the meatloaf and fried potatoes . We also had a baked potato . All great!

Place to be for a good German meal at a very decent price. Schnitzel , brat - and currywurst , and, obviously, all sorts of potato dishes . Service was fast even though the place was crowded .

Delicious German food - great schnitzel , gratinated potatoes and apple strudel , extremely efficient service . It’s not fine dining , but it’s perfect for what it is.

You can not go wrong at the kiste. The food is good and the portions are big. Friendly staff to top it off. Gonna come back next time we visit Trier.

Endroit très convivial, les plats ont comme le dit bien le nom "kartoffel" la pomme de terre comme ingrédient. Prix très démocratique, serveurs très polis et... serviable ;-) je le recommande donc!

Richtig leckeres Restaurant . Waren in Trier zu Besuch und haben ein Restaurant besuchen wollen. Da sind wir auf dieses gestoßen und waren sehr zufrieden. Sehr leckeres Essen zu moderaten Preisen.

Dit restaurantje uitgezocht tussen de veel weinstube en biergarten in Trier. Zeer leuk zaakje, aardappelgerechten in al zijn gedaantes. Aanraders: chef-schnitzel en pfalzer schnitzel.

Sehr lecker. Bisher immer sehr gut dort gegessen. Manchmal ist mir die Geräuschkulisse etwas hoch, das hält mich aber nicht davon ab wieder dorthin essen zu gehen. :)
