過去には3種のご利益について書かれた看板もあったようですが、あまりに混雑するからか、どれも同じですと現地には書いてあります。ただ、ブラタモリでも学問、恋愛、長寿の別があると紹介していたのでこの話はまだ有効でしょう。今では知る人ぞ知る話になっちゃってますね。あ、それがtipかww
"清水"の名前の由来となった音羽山の湧水。古来より清めの水として尊ばれています。三筋の水それぞれにご利益があり、向かって左が学問成就、真ん中が恋愛成就、右が延命長寿の水。どれか一つだけを選んで、一口だけ頂くのが正しい作法なのだそうです。
観光 客がのばす柄杓がセルカ棒に見えると後輩が言ってました。

Best to come here early morning to avoid crowds. The ground level was under construction when we visited but the neighboring areas are quite picturesque. Don’t miss the hot custard/red bean pancakes. - Vasu
