Lanikai Beach is a beach Kailua located in United States.
Mokulua Dr Kailua , HI 96734 United States
This is my favorite beach in Oahu , you can't beat the view , the water is so blue and calm
Me and a few friends rented a house here (1218 Mokulua ) . Towards the end of our stay we all wanted to move to Hawaii. Stunningly gorgeous beach and lovely community.
Very beautiful, clean beach with amazing views . There wasn’t parking nearby, but you can park at the larger park and walk along the street to get to the beach .
This beach consistently gets voted as one of the most beautiful beaches in the nation. With a sandy beach , blue water protected by reefs, and views of several off shore islands , it's easy to see why.
Great beach for the little ones. I don't know if it was that specific day we went but the water was blue but lacked the crystal clear. Over all had a great experience and gorgeous views !
A lovely beach with great views . There are no facilities here, so be prepared.
It just so happens that the nicest beach in Oahu is GREAT for beginners. Crystal clear, calm waters . Park on Kuailima Dr for a direct outlet to the beach & less crowds.
Great beach with calm waters and beautiful view of the Mokes. Excellent hiking trails nearby.
Nicest beach in the world, great for snorkeling , but a little tricky with parking . Have to find something on the street in the neighborhood .
The most incredible beach in the world!!! Baby powder sand, light turquoise crystal clear water, great to paddle out to the mokes, serene with friendly people if you do see anyone.
A truly stunning, serene beach . Clear water and sand with the texture of flour. One of the most tranquil places I've been.
Too many people, but the beach is soft sand and the water and reef is spectacular. My favorite beach .
Beautiful sandy beach with a view of the Mokes. Be prepared as it can be windy here.
This is one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been to! Calm , peaceful , serene. Great for snorkeling !
This is by far one of the most cleaner and nicer beach . 35-40 mins drive from Waikiki
Right next to Kailua Beach , you have to drive and park in a small, upscale neighborhood to get here. The scenery is amazing and the water is absolutely calm .
Stunning more secluded beach . While you're here don't forget to grab a fish taco with mango salsa or coconut shrimps from the Lanikai Shrimp Truck http://bit.ly/1eUhORI
Bring your snorkeling gear !! There are a lot of fishes and we saw a turtle as well !!
My favorite beach in the whole wide world... be respectful! This beach is the front lawn/backyard of lots of people!
Great place to watch the sunrise above the Mokes. Go early and bring a light jacket -- it can get quite breezy .
You can kayak out to one of the little islands . A short trip and much fun.
Bring your own umbrella/shade/tent plenty of lotion. Very strong winds. But very beautiful place to visit! Take lots of pics to share with friends, and bring snorkeling gear .
Can Be windy. Easy to just wade at the shore or swim out a little. Kayaking in front you may see sea turtles ????
White sand beaches with light blue water .. just perfect .
My favorite beach . White sand and a beautiful view of the Mokuluas . Much less crowded than Kailua Beach and calmer surf than Kalama.
Beautiful beach . For snorkeling at least as good as Hanauma Bay whilst cheaper and less crowded . Go there!
The sand was so nice, it was amazing. We saw some outrigger canoes , it was fun.
Ideal for snorkeling and watching the windsurfers
Get here early to park around the small neighborhood .
Scenery is very beautiful. Not too crowded . Perfect to relax and just sleep and hangout.
The sand here is particularly awesome for sand castle building! Bring your buckets and build your sand dynasty.
Hey guys, this is the "Park " and not the beach ... Nice grassy area used mainly by the local canoe clubs and community. Just saying---
White sand and blue water. Soooo nice to swim here <3
It is really a residential beach and there are very few places where you can park your car
Sand here is a bit harsh compare with other nearby beaches
Great place on a sunny day. Snorkeling is good but fish are much smaller than other snorkel spots. Extra fine powdery white sand . No facilities so be sure to use the restroom before coming here.
If u get stung by a Portuguese Manowar (however u spell it) rub sand on it ASAP! Or bring vinegar just in case to rub on it too. :)
Ultra-fine sand gets in EVERYTHING. We used access way #7 which looked like the last one for the main beach .
Fairly crowded , but has a few public restrooms nearby. Hike the pillbox and then chill by the beach .
R E S P E C T that this lovely little beach is in a residential neighborhood and keep it peaceful . :) lovely place
Awesome beach for relaxing in the water, there's like no surf at all. Plus there's shade on the beach :) Kinda crowded though :P
Beautiful beach , a little bit small, but so lovely.
totally accessible by public transit if youre dropped off at kailua and youre ok w hiking a little. be 10 min early tho to all bus stops and stick arnd for another 15 if it hasnt come on time!
Clear blue water and calm seas make this slice of sand a quiet retreat.
Great beach and SO many cute dogs to look at/wish were mine! Great spot for kayaking out to those little islands !
This is the best beach on Oahu. White sand , turquoise water, and not a lot of people. Beautiful!
Best beach I've been to in oahu! Sand is extremely soft and we saw a lot of sea turtles
Great sands beautiful views wish the water was warmer though
Great spot to watch the Moon rise behind the Mokulua islands . Try stand up paddling or kayaking here!
Cold today. I still went out to take underwater pics. I could see the coral reef and fishes !

Amazing beach with very soft sand. Very calm waters, like a pool. Incredible blue water. - Rodrigo
Tricky to find the start of the trail but well worth the slightly difficult hike up to the pillboxes for an amazing view. Def not for slipper wearers! - Terence Chan
Natural flavor shaved ice w/ice cream, azuki beans, mochi & snow cap. Perfect on a hot day after kayaking. But this is a very sweet concoction. - Susan Lai
