Awesome museum really friendly staff nice things to see.
One of the best museums I've ever been to. Contains a remarkable collection of subjects dating back to Roman and Hellenic periods. You can spend hours and hours there. The ticket costs 8 euros.
It's always interesting to learn the past/history of a place. Very well arranged exhibitions with many information about different aspects of live in ancient time
A trip back in time. The museum is unique and gives you the opportunity to get to know everthing about the city 's culture and people. A must-see!
If you have been already at Pergamon, Louvre or British Museum , you wouldn't feel thrilled here. But overall compact museum with good findings and pieces.
Great collections from city of Thessaloniki ! ???????????????? Definitely worth visiting!
A Macedonian museum from Macedonian people. A must while in Thessaloniki. History never lies.
All the major ancient Macedonian finds are contained within this excellent museum .
Leave your stuff in the self-service lockers for free and wander the museum .
An important museum with interesting collections of ancient findings
A very nice and informative museum .
If you like antic Greece, you are welcome! You will like it.
It holds and interprets artifacts from the Archaic, Classical, Hellenistic and Roman periods, mostly from the city of Thessaloniki but also from the region of Macedonia in general.
Great exhibitions .
Horrible ????
Closed also. Sad sad! This city is not for tourists . Shame.
Entrance 8є but they have a combined tickets with other 3 museum- 15є. Nice location. Need to have qr-code of pcr test or vaccine passport. Need to use mask all time. No cafe, no audio guide.
Pazar günleri ücretsiz! Ve saat 16.00’ya kadar açık. Oldukça geniş kapsamlı. O yüzden vakit ayırmalı.

Amazing museum building with great atmosphere and superb restaurant! - Dora Siglidou
Well worth the couple of Euro entrance fee. Amazingly tranquil, beautiful, but simple interior with beautiful mosaic ceilings. A place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city!! - Dan Millard
Tiny in size, huge importance for the city's history. - Michael Ariel ????
Inside the tower there is a great museum about the history of Thessaloniki. Get a free audio guide in English, everything inside is in Greek. - Haralan Dobrev
One of the best meeting points in Thessaloniki, except missioneries! Have a frappe-rest on the Nikis St. after shopping on the four or five crowded wide-streets like Tsimiski and Egnatia. - Nevcan Altuğ
Must visit once you are in Thessaloniki for the view and the rotating platform despite its high prices - Aeternia
