Alona Beach it possibly one of the most cosy, charming little towns i’ve ever been in. The beach is spectacular with restaurants and bars along the waterfront . Nightlife was great too. Must try

Depends on the season (I suggest May) you will find more or less tourists , it's a good beach (but Boracay is still the best) plenty of great restaurants , beach activities and tours provided

A scuba divers dream. With 20+ sites to explore and padi shops lined up every few hundred meters. Massages on the beach are cheap , diving is cheap , but the food is all BBQ , or foreign like Chinese.

Clear water, white sand , lovely on a sunny day. High tide in the mornings, tide gets lower throughout the day. Plenty businesses along the beach if you wanna grab a bite or a drink and very cheap !

Our family had an enjoyable dinner right on the sands. Get 2 pick the freshest seafood and meat cooked to order. Try the huge prawns ! With Visayan dip of soy, green tomato , onion and a bit of chili .

All the dive shops have a fixed price agreed to with the local authorities.this is contrary to Philippine law (The dept of justice) "Office for competition". It also contravenes The ASEAN treaty.

This small beach has beautiful white sand & sunset , crowded foreigners from different country , variety of grills for night life.

Stroll along the shoreline. There are a lot of affordable food options you just have to ask. Don't fail to try Buzzz Cafe .

Night life is good here compared to other beaches here in panglao island , especially on weekends. I would recommend to choose hotels in this area.

Only 2 beaches are swimmable in Panglao: Alona and White (which is in the middle of the east side). Public beach with incredible send. Only 10 m of good send, after not recommended to swim .

Mmm the beach itself it's not very nice as a beach , but the diving trips you can take from the boatmen here are insane!! Bargain hard!!!! Beware: Zero nightlife - ONLY DIVING

Truly a nice beach where u can find all u need and even some quiet places

Beach is nice, although harsh shells underfoot just as you enter the water, then all great. Nice array of restaurants to relax away the day in, masseurs on the beach , and many tours starting here.

we stayed at Isis. 2k per night (2 peeps). large room and the water is ok. doesnt smell like seawater because they have it delivered every morning. all the staff are friendly as well .

Much like Boracay feels with all the bars and grills by the beach . But definitely more serene here.

bring insect repellant when you go in the afternoon. The beach is pretty at dusk but the mosquitos are jurrasic and wont be gone until 7pm

My second home is alona tropical beach resort . Villa facing the beach is great. Wifi and friendly staff .often comes for the last 15 years

You can go there without the need to check in to the resorts . Hire a tricycle from Tagbilaran (negotiate w the driver). Cost of our tricycle to and from is PHP400, he waited for us for 3 hours.

Stayed at Alona Vida... Wifi not stable but very accommodating staff .. And welcome drink was nice....

White sand and beautiful beaches but becomes too crowded by foreigners and also too expensive

Nice beach , a lot of restaurants , dive clubs and rooms to stay.

place can measure up to Boracay ...actually I already prefer here. Lodging is not so expensive but the food and travel are! Better learn how to commute or you will be paying 300 to manong tricycle!
