It’s a beautiful restaurant with fantastic food. Service is nice and attentive. Go for the four courses - I thought it was just enough. The home made beer is also excellent. Date place !

Hip new Scandinavian restaurant with wonderfully creative 3 course tasting menu , an outdoor beer garden with a food truck , and a sneaky awesome beer bar upstairs . Perfect date spot .

This can be Oslo's new playground for foodies, wine , beer and cocktail enthusiasts. Cocktails are among the best, 32 beers on tap . Struggling with service and I don't get the food concept quite yet.

Excellent four course menu with paired wines . Lovely relaxed atmosphere with a view out to the river and into the kitchen.

Loved the food and wine combo! The service was great and ambience really nice. We sat upstairs which is more informal but will for sure go back to check out downstairs as well

High quality of food, especially if you order the brunch you get to taste a lot of different things. Very polite service . I will definitely eat there again.

Down by the river this stately 1802 building (Grünerløkka's oldest) was once the kings farm and now sports a beautiful restaurant , an amazing beer bar , with 32 taps, and its own brewery .

After a devestating fire it has risen like some bird that rises, Phoenix or something. Place looks just as good as before and they've properly started brewing. A must visit for beer geeks!

Hip , fun restaurant in an old mansion, this place seems to be "the place" this summer - drinks upstairs or dinner downstairs, you can't go wrong.

The beer bar upstairs is a hidden gem . Cozy and luxurious at the same time, friendly bartenders , plus an excellent and exotic tap list .

They have a large outdoor space with its own bar . On 2nd floor you'll find a bar with 28 beers on tap , and a huge beer selection on bottle.

The prices are incredibly reasonable compared to the great quality of the food and the nice venue.

Nedre Foss re-opened in November 2017 after a devestating fire on Little Christmas Eve 2015. I am told it is back to its former, short lived, glory and hope to re-visit soon.

Looks amazing but on two occasions could not find any service or an English menu. Gave up. But it does appear to be very popular with the locals.

Old farmhouse converted into a chic contemporary restaurant . Middle price range. Highly recommended!
