If you hire a car you can get about more as it's 10 minutes drive from Albufiera. It's a lovely place to stay, nothing fancy but clean and with great staff .
Contradictory to a couple of tips, this hostel is very good! They will even give you free pass for the wifi if you ask them nicely.
Ignore earlier tips as the place is being upgraded and is now a brilliant place for a holiday.
The hotel itself is a bit old and not kept properly but the staff is really helpful, especially the guys at the restaurant . They make the stay much nicer!!!!

The location is perfect for me. Right at a long beach. But go for the sea view rooms. Especially the suites are huge and spacoius. Just the bath room is pretty small and has hardly any storage. - Blue Sky Travel www.blue-sky-travel.de
