As with many pubs that are alongside hotels , the beers are expensive and the food reasonable. Staff are a friendly bunch and outside seating in the summer is great.
Don't ask for the Muzak to be turned down, it will affect the whole pub ! Well DOH that's the point !!!!!
Real ale is not very good, which is more than you say about the service.
