While the Actual Park Area (With Grass - Dog Park - Play Ground - Pond is GREAT! I would suggest you don't go hiking through the desert area south of curry and west of the Park on Curry/College Ave

Awesom place for an adventure near ASU campus. Ride your bike off road , walk you dog at the dog park , explore the desert landscape, photograph wildlife , or hike the rock hill and watch the sunset .

Great for a picnic ! Amazing views and pretty duck pond . But, if you are planning on using a gazebo for a party, you have to rent it out through the City of Tempe. They're pretty strict but its free.

Great place to hike , bike , picnic n' fish . I'm glad that Tempe is doing its best to clean up the joint of trash and squatters.

If you like dogs, bums and late-night homosexual rendezvous, this is the park for you!

If you own a mountain bike then this is the spot for you. Go anytime because it's always good. Just remember to take your water jug and a backpack.

Hiking , tables for eating, and the zoo/gardens are near by. Fun place.

Pros: usually sparsely inhabited. Dog run . Bathroom facilities. Ground squirrels. Cons: bathrooms attract transients. Uber or Lyft drivers park in lot for hours waiting for a fare.

Greak place for a hike , cave exploring, and some good geocaches

Great park for kids, with duck pond and access to Papago Park .

Its clean usually empty you don't really see weirdos Just a good family park .
