Love this historic port soooo much... When you visit Crete in a day, visit Heraklion first than spend more time and end your day at Chania by staying in one of many hotels here.

Lovely place for an evening walk and watch the sunset ..!!! The port has a venetian set up and especially in autumn the sun is not too strong and its quite windy for a feel good factor..!!!

The best place to eat is amphora taverna with perfect style and modern prices this restaurt looks like a bit of Greece blue and white at all and not pressing like everyone else

At daytime you can walk around freely, but late in the evening all the tourists crawl outta their expensive apartments and take over the restaurants and everything.
