You can just use Apple Pay (or probably the Android one also) to just tap the green kiosk and jump on the train . No need to buy a ticket.

Fare is now $2.80 as of Summer 2024. You can get a ticket at the machines at the far west end of baggage claim but it's easier to just add a virtual hop card to your phone OR use a digital wallet card

Who needs a rental? Not me..this is the best way to travel. Just don't expect dollar bills as change. Lots and lots of quarters can be expected when breaking a twenty for a two hour pass . Read more

MAX operators would rather chat with each other instead of drive the trains . Also rude assholes when you point this out. Not worth the fare.
