Elevated Persian classics made with care. Plumb chicken and Lori Kabab were next level. Order as much as many dishes as you can, but leave room for sorbet and ice cream .
Everything! Yogurt with beets and shallot , crispy rice , plum chicken , lamb shank and the smoke egg plant , Don’t forget dessert , sorbet and Persian ice cream
MAybe the best Persian food in nyc? Feta toast app, lamb shank and the cardamom ice cream sandwich were excellent. Not so big on the meatball app
Everything was great, the best was the duck fezenjan and the steak kebab . This is a modern Persian place, not traditional. The tadig and the polo shirin were also very good. Highly recommend Sofreh.
The food was of course delicious, but what really caught me is the friendliness and accommodating nature of all the staff . We had a wonderful time!
Super friendly , great environment and the food is to die for. Get the lamb shank for sure. And the traditional persian ice cream !
The food was just amazing. We loved the meatballs , the Lori Kababs , and Spicy fish . The Persian ice cream is to die for.
The best Persian restaurant in the U.S.! Try their Kabob Torsh. It’s a steak with a sour taste. Ask chef Nassim about the specials of the day. She is usually in the restaurant greeting tables.
Everything was delicious! The chicken , meatball and eggplant appetizers are a must! And must get dessert !
The Food! Service needs real work. Price point is high especially as the main dishes 'require" sides which are $5-8. Chic , minimalist space and loud . Let's see how the locals respond, much potential.
Eggplant dip , squash salad , sweet potato , flatbread , striped bass , rose cake . Memorable meal, good service , good vibes.
Everything is good here. Lamb shank and eggplant appetizer were standouts
The lamb , the flatbread with herbs, the kofteh. Everything we had was amazing! Can’t wait to return!
Best steak I've ever had. The flavors explode from each dish, and the service is impeccable. ????????????????
Tried the lamb shank and cherries and beef for starter. For the price point, i thought the food was good, though not memorable.
Loved the roasted eggplant , chicken , and herb rice !
Literally everything is delicious, especially the lamb shank and half chicken .
The food here is super delicous! A bit expensive but it's worth it!
Everything is divine ????
Try the lamb shank with herbed rice ! Fantastic!
eggplant spread & grilled cauliflower ????????????
Lamb , rice and date tahini salad !
The Persian Ash Stew is amazing!
Not all authentic but a lot of solid options. Eggplant appetizer wins by far.
Very expensive but worth it for a special occasion
Incredible experience
Always go for the lamb .
Very authentic Persian food !
TO Top NYC 2019
Food is excellent!
Mirza Ghasemi (eggplant dish )
Horrible. I was charged $60 for not showing up to eat outside during during hurricane Henri (my child is unvaccinated and we don't eat inside). They don't answer a phone and are beyond rude.
Enormous portions! The mixed gyro platter is delish and easily enough to feed 2 ???????? - Julie Eschbacher
The pita and hummus are amazing! Wonderful place. Get chicken platter ir schwarma!! - Lebabb
They just added brunch and it's delicious. Fantastic scrambled eggs, morels and asparagus with crunchy bread in a ceramic bowl. Love the vintage/contemporary vibe of the space, too. - MidgeMadge D
Best ice cream. Now they also have soft serve, which is unsurprisingly outstanding - try the horchata flavor. - Kevin Goldstein
Great cheap drinks! friendly laid back atmosphere! Local favorite. - Lola Lavauge
