The prix fixe menu is really good value . I had the salmon carpaccio , the veal schnitzel and the chocolate ice cream and it was £30. All delicious, served piping hot and big servings . Great service too
Incredible cocktails (best remake of G&T I’ve had) and the coolest vibe. The place is spacious and everything about this place is beautiful (even the bathrooms ). Def want to go back for their sausages
We had a feast of oysters , scallops , duck , cod ... Everything was delicious, but what impressed us the most was the freshness of the ingredients and how light those big portions felt in our tummies.
The best and most German meal you can have is to try one of their Wursts . My favourite is the Kasekrainer , a smoked and grilled cheese pork sausage , Sauerkraut , truffled potato puree and crispy onions
Gorgeous venue with an amazing service. I was very impressed. It has 2 different floors serving distinct menus. The waiter Chloe is an absolute joy: professional, diligent, social and attentive. ☺️
A fancy venue with a great atmosphere and very attentive service . Food offering is diverse so you do not feel that you have to go for 100% German food . Head straight for the cocktail bar upstairs
Excellent, fast, attentive service , tasty food, nicely presented. We went for brunch and then for dinner again. Location is perfect for pre-travel.
The cocktails are amazing! I tried the Barrel Vault and dare I say that it deserves the award it has won ;)
At this caliber, I hesitate to even call it German food . Great experience overall. Food was delicious, service was ok (our waitress was a little inexperienced, kept checking in every literally 5 mins)
Ate in the Grand Cafe which is on the ground floor. Good service from Albert, who was also very chilled out . Good choice if you like huge German beers and sausages . Handy location outside Kings X.
Amazing ambience and vibe. Wine list is reasonably priced and very good. I only had the cold meat platter which for ten pounds was more than enough. Would definitely go again with a group of friends
Very spacious and modern place in the middle of King’s Cross. Service is very good. Prices are reasonable compared to the similar places.
Fantastic sausages and with the truffle mash and a liter stein what could be better?
Great service and great food. Bit pricey but definitely worth it. Get the sausage salad and the Vienna schnitzel .
Beautiful dining space with a great (if not huge) menu. Fantastic wine & cocktail list with wide selection of excellent wines & the staff are knowledgeable .
Finally a good German restaurant in London! A bit expensive but if you're craving for a good snitzel , this is the place for you !

Good for a bite near the train . Beautiful room and beautiful presentation. Familiar if not exceptional flavors. Great service.
Great breakfast choices and friendly service . All in a really cool ambience. Highly recommended ????try the poached egg with salmon or the chia bowl
Oh dear... the food! We all loved it! Try the sausages with truffle mashed potato or the chicken schnitzel ????????
The design of this space is well worth its 2016 Best Designed Restaurant - that being said, cocktails are ok and food is average at best.
The building itself is amazing... Just enjoy the atmosphere don't expect too much from food
Excellent food and service. The paprika sauce (like a salsa ) served with the chicken schnitzel was delicious.
Nice food and special occasions ambience. Recommend set menu for £30 with a glass of prosecco
Beautiful venue. Large selection of cocktails . Haven't tried the food, but it looked good.
What a great location. Had a drink in the bar and was overwhelmed by the fantastic design!
Try the vienna schnitzel ,its soft, huge portion and so delicious!Great ambient ass well suitable for special occasions .
Gorgeous space - perfect for a really nice lunch . Two courses for £25.
Went for cocktails .. Fab menu and choice. Nice building and decor. Good ambience
Absolutely gorgeous space in a highly historic building . Too bad about the ho-hum, uninteresting menu (for the price especially...).
Great spectacle - if you don't want to eat at least pop into the bar upstairs for a drink to enjoy the views .
From breakfast to dinner , the place to be in King's Cross!
Great breakfast here and what a building! Such a nice space to enjoy good food and drink in.
It’s definitely my favorite restaurant in London. When in doubt, go for any of the sausages and a pint of beer .
I love loft style grand architecture . Great vines too!
This is now a restaurant and bar so ignore all reviews prior to 2015. Very nice space with food and cocktails to match.
Head upstairs to the lofted bar for inventive house cocktails and expertly crafted classics.
Nice ambience, pretty settings. Cocktails are reasonable for the area.
Very good place for lunch and good choice of cocktails and very good Sacha torte
Not the most traditional German dishes but the sausages are good. Lobster spatzel was a bit of a let down. Bland cucumber salad - we had to salt it ourselves. Wurstsalat was delish!
Great service and the most incredible decor - good selection of whiskies and Mezcal .
The Romanian Merlot was delicious. As were the butchers plate and the veal schnitzel .
great german restaurant but quite expensive
Great building with a huge vaulted ceiling. The bar upstairs is nice but service is slow
Schnupfnudel were good! Lots of truffle flavours
German comfort food , fantastic cakes , good wine and cocktail selection .
Amazing German cuisine , perfect service, impressive wine menu .
Amazing decoration, huge place, nice people and I really enjoyed my steak !
Nice place. Great big fries ! Friendly French (!) staff .
Nice, simple menu with a German twist. Decent steaks
Airy and lead back. Great wine list. Fabulous value. Good for a lazy Sunday brunch - lunch - dinner. - Michael Hadwin
Great place for a Sunny day!! We have been served by Tommaso, very kind guy and he knows what is serving, good recommendations! - Elif Baloglu
