Get the take out , which shares the same kitchen as the restaurant but is half the price. Traditional fish and chips supper served the northern way, inc bread and pots of tea .
Consistently strong reputation and for good reason. Very nice fish and chips with a nice cuppa.
Does what it says on the box. Fish and chips . Proper chips , fried in dripping (unless by special order). Decent fish . Proper portion sizes.
The large haddock spills slightly over the plate. I dread to think how large the "whale " is.
If there is a queue, you need to give your name to the check in, or you will queue all night!
