It was great, very Spanish place with great wine and tapas for a reasonable price. Avocado tapas was very good, overall the food is high quality. The place itself is very relaxed and cosy!

Everything! It's impossible to choose the best! Go for the pintxos to be able to try until you cannot eat anymore! I also tried the desert "pastel de queso " and it was amazing!

Bar España is a wonderful place with amazingly delicious tapas , cosy atmosphere and really really nice and kind people. If you do not know Spanish, just ask the chef and you will not regret :)

Pintxos (small portions of dishes) are lovely, minihamburger is recommended, very well located (close to Plaça del Mercat and Plaça d'España either, no english menu, better using a translater.

Get to Bar España (0034 971 724234; £16 for tapas and wine ) before 9pm, as it fills up fast. Unusually, they put a lot of spice into dishes here – expect Mexican, Indian and Thai influences.

At 8:30 on a Monday in August, staff seemed overwhelmed. Long line of people waiting. Pretty standard pinxtos (tapas on baguette ), meat and cheese plates . Good value .

What's good here? EVERYTHING :) But be aware only spanish menu.. Be early or make reservation , fills up pretty quick..
