One of my favorite beaches on St. John! Equipped with changing rooms, toilets , picnic and grill facilities. The waves can get rough here on a stormy day.

Dave

Very nice, less crowded , close to town . On site changing rooms are a nice touch... No walking around in a wet swimsuit all day.

David Hitchcock

Coral reef is shallow and near the shore - beautiful but take care not to step on it or kick with fins. It consists of millions of Cnidaria and that kills them.

Great for SUP / Paddleboarding. Rent boards from sup-stjohn.com, take them to Hawksnest & paddle over to Gibney or little Hawksnest

Take a paddleboard & paddle over to Gibney/Oppenheimer Beach which you might have to yourself

Lucy Ramone

beautiful beach , take a paddleboard and head over to Gibney & Little Hawksnest

The best snorkeling at the Caneel Bay Resort is at this beach on the far left side, beating out all six of the other beaches .

JR Fent

13 mooring balls. 4 are commercial which you can use at night only.

Marsha Jeffrey

Absolutely beautiful, clean , and not crowded .

Kimberly

Favorite beach here and less crowded than Trunk Bay .

Chris Fredericks

Where the locals go! Not quite as nice as Trunk , but close!
