Gorgeous building near Emory; their special exhibits and Imax theater are always good. Uncanny ability to curate in a way kids love. Solid permanent collection. Ideal for families with kids 3-9 yrs.
This museum is in midtown Atlanta and the surroundings are so pretty. Really liked this place! Lots of exhibits ranging from dinosaurs , mammals and whales to pottery.

For the fare you get a modern light and airy coliseum-like atrium that is accented by outdated and unimaginative exhibits that feel as if they predate the building itself
