Quaint and stately . We love the people, the live piano in the evenings, and the ready access to the Mariposa Grove of giant sequoias, and Yosemite valley not far away.
Old School. Get a room with a private bath . You have to ask for soap and hair dryer at the front desk.
Be aware when you book that there are no tv 's, phones, or wifi in the rooms. Majority of the rooms do not have a private bath either. They're down the hall. Good location to the Mariposa Grove though!

Had lunch at then site restaurant and the white turkey breast chili is the best chili I have ever had
If you get a room with a private bath and that bathroom has a door in it... don't open it!
Wifi is short range, but great.
No phone, T V, restroom so very relaxing
