For a foodie like myself, nothing could be better than Moose Cafe. Incredible food, great service, heaping portions... This entire meal PLUS a drink was under $10. A must-go in Asheville.
The food is always awesome here and they have huge portions . Always ask for extra apple butter since they don't have the squirt bottles anymore.
Excellent fried trout . Wonderful spinach salad with ripe, fresh peaches .

I love the food here. The service here the last 4 to 5 times has been serious no eye contact no ease of service but rather that they would like to be anywhere but there! Food excellent! Service poor!

Food... Service.. is Not a strong point! All I have had is very serious to almost a scroll no eye Contact or smile.! Just what you going to have here it is. Then the bill!

20 minutes not one server came to the table. Served the table beside us that came after us. Only 5 other tables in there. I won't be back.

The biscuits were awesome. Gave us the spicy chicken instead of plain. Fries were way too salty, had to get new ones. Gave us sweet tea instead of unsweetened tea.All in all, we just had to laugh. - Barbara Snipes
