A beautiful museum with a wide selection of works of art . Check out its impressionists collection

Curious case of modern art in Russia. Although the number of paintings is quite limited, the originals are unique and I am doubtful I would ever learn of their existence with out this forgotten pearl .

I visited on March, 2015 last time, when a great and fantastic collection of European-American artists (namely Gaugin, Van Gogh , Picasso, Monet...) was there. Must-see in Moscow.

The museum is the largest museum of European art in Moscow. It is situated in Volkhonka St., 12. A surprising fact is that its name has nothing to do with the great Russian poet Alexander Pushkin.

Great, but random collection of art from all times and everywhere (the way it got here is dubious in many cases...) sadly Not a single explanation in English. needs to improve!

Monet, Matisse , Korovin, Degas, van Gogh , Renoir, Vuillard, Aivazovsky, Repin, Cezanne, Manet, Rousseau, Pissarro. Just go.

There are two buildings: one is kind of natural history plus art , another is pure art . Both have to be visited.

Purchase a combination ticket for the main museum and the impressionist/surrealist collections next door.

As always, overcrowd but worth to stay and see an exhibition .

Very occasionally have some special exhibitions , however, the amount of queueing is killing everything.

Ну вот наконец то я там побывала ❤️❤️❤️Это было потрясающе. Музей для посещения обязателен и ходить туда надо не раз. Так как экспозиция огромная и все за раз запомнить невозможно.

Понравилось все. В одном месте собраны экспонаты самых разных музеев мира – копии скульптур и архитектурных элементов, известны из которых чуть ли не все. Коллекция картин и мумия кошки !

Özel koleksiyonlar, 19. ve 20. yy orta avrupa ve amerikadan parçalar başta olmak üzere çok çeşit sanat eserini barındırıyor. Bina ile beraber atmosferi gerçekten etkileyici. Gezip görülesi bir müze .

Как всегда потрясающая экспозиция , и как всегда настроение портят "божьи одуванчики" с бейджиками и их вечным "нельзя снимать, уберите мобильник" Уберите лучше уже этих тётенек – они тут явно лишние.

Много скульптур, иногда привозят отличные временные экспозиции . Для студентов есть акция бесплатного прохода - изучайте на сайте, может изменится.

Любовь с первого взгляда! Один из главных музеев искусства в Москве. Ранее оно принадлежало помещикам и до сегодняшнего дня сохранило свой первоначальный вид !

Экспозиция скульптуры впечатляет:статуи , архитектура , саркофаги, сокровища египта и греции и многое другое, живопись известных мастеров .Не для галочки, мы смотрели 4 часа, очень интересно.

Можно купить билет онлайн на сайте, на определенное время - по этим билетам вход через правое крыло, и там никогда нет очереди . Кафе маленькое и в нем всегда негде сесть. Отличная сувенирная лавка .

В современной экспозиции представлены обширная учебная коллекция тонированных гипсовых слепков с произведений античности, средних веков и эпохи Возрождения, а также подлинные произведения искусства

Сегодня выйдя с выставки я смотрю на свой билет, а на нем написано: льготный, 200рНо я покупала за 400 обычный. Те билетерша обокрала музей , в котором она работает, на 200р!

Это то место,которое хочется посетить вновь и вновь,чтобы стать частью Великого Искусства. Великолепные полотна,восхитительные статуи ,графические работы,предметы искусства - все есть в музее!
