You have to get there truffle chocolate iced coffee with the truffle coffee ice cubes ! These guys do it right!
The kopi luwak is a fun experience! You have the whole shop to yourself and the owner gives you a ton of information on the process and how to taste it. He even gave us some cigars for the final round
Vanilla latte with almond milk was the best I've had. Very helpful baristas, peaceful ambience with fountain and classical music in the background. Great place to work or have meaningful conversation.
The most extensive espresso menu I have seen in Los Angeles. The Funnel Mill team executes with an exactness I have rarely seen anywhere. Sit at the bar to see them at work. Mad coffee scientists!
Try the chai here. It takes 10 minutes because they hand chop the spices and boil the milk . But it is worth it! Great relaxing place to work too.
A bit dark when seated away from the windows but good coffee , free wifi , and decent vegan pastries . Ample street parking around the corner. Plus, a cute German Shepherd snoozing in the corner!
The chai here is great: there's two kinds that are fresh-brewed and they give you a big pot. The baked goods are great too.
Siphon ftw! Teresa and JC know their beans. Share what you like and they’ll find the right one for you — and remember it the next time you come in
Interesting spot with over the top organic coffee , vibe, and brewing style. The iced Ethiopian was good. Ask for samples.
Turkish coffee takes 20 minutes, but it is worth the wait.
Best Cortado in the whole world. Ask for the "Turkado"
You come here for quality coffee and/or a nice place to work . Espresso , cold drip and siphon coffee are all excellent.
The most serious cup of coffee I have ever had. This place is impeccable.
Order their special "Turkish" Cortado . Not on the menu . I call a Turkado. Amazing taste
awesome staff who are knowledgable about their beans, they make a great cold brew (ice drip in their terms) with a great chocolate truffle ground. and they make a great grind for take-home too.
This place sells a $90 cup of coffee that has been pooped out by batty animals. Have not tried it yet.
Great teas ! Awesome atmosphere.
This place is super confusing. The dessert is ok, glad it's vegan , but the latte was certainly burnt. Agree it's a good place to work but the decor is so strange and off-putting. Weird vibes.
Get the cold drip truffle chocolate coffee (type of bean, not a flavouring).
One of the few places that will serve you kopi luwak coffee . Atmosphere is eclectic .
Great place, amazing tea and coffee , love the sugar-free apple pie !
You don't need any tips for Funnel Mill ; their knowledge of their product is so great and the atmosphere is awesome. Enjoy.
Hidden gem with a serene Asian vibe opens at 9 a.m.
The iced cofee is incredible, and the staff really knows coffee . The beans roasted in-house are excellent. Read more
Iced Dark Chocolate Truffle coffee is awesome. This place opens at 9am.
Get the chocolate truffle cold brew . Probably my favorite brew in LA.
Great coffee , you have to ask for the wifi password, but it's free.
10 dollar menu items hit the coffee snob sweet spot for value.
Exceptional cold brew coffee . Best I've had.
Great coffee . Awesome, awesome atmosphere. I really really wish they open earlier! At least 8am!
love their healthy herbal tea ! must try it, and their freshly made chai !
A great study place . Solid drinks!
dog-friendly! and the coffee/tea is quite on point
Amazing collection of premium tea
Sadly was disappointed. The latte itself was, fine, but extremely tiny for a high price. Gluten-free raspberry chocolate dessert was dry. Nice atmosphere if looking for a place to work .
They have turkish coffee , european style latte , and sometimes kopi luwak .
First time I went here I was like "nah mane, this ain't me." Next time I was like "it's fancy and expensive and imma keep my pinky up and f the haterz"
wonderful tea service
$4.50 for an espresso shot is a bit overpriced.
Bitchiest coffee shop I've ever been to. $5 min for credit card charges, no cell phone/photography signs everywhere, and a "we reserve the right to refuse service" sign 2x bigger than the OPEN sign.
Great experiences...can't wait to try it again in October when we're back!
No cell phone use policy in full effect. Love it! The best coffee experience so far! Even have proper, proper chai ! +1
Iced coffee with coffee I've cubes!!
They invited me to bring my dog in and gave him treats! Also, coffee ice cubes !
have in iced latte (preferably with mocha beans). they get better as the iced espresso melts!
Blueberry tart and iced coffee
A hidden gem .
Try the Taiwanese Pu-reh - Served with green tea pumpkin seeds .
Not too far from 3rd Street and the beach . Yum teas . Delicious!
$5 ish for a 10ounce Laté. Expensive but gooood!
Best coffee in town for a chain. Sit outside with the fire pits after a day at the beach. - Sandi Boudreau
Great selection of roasters to choose from if looking for whole bean. Choose from 2 offering a day on the pour over brew menu. Free street parking right around the corner. - @RickNakama
The team at Caffe Luxxe is passionate about artisanal coffee, handcrafting each drink one at a time. The vibe here is great, too. Instead of bleary-eyed caffeine addicts staring at open laptops, yo... - Tom Lee
Amazing salads and specialty foods. Try the pesto pasta. - Natalie Sikavi
Amazing burger, though not the cheapest! Definitively worth the money. - Stephan Kliche
I love the Promenade, even if it is a bit touristy! The have tons of shops ranging from the high-end to more affordable, and lots of people watching opportunities! Very talents performers as well! - Parker Green
