A great place to taste Ukrainian cuisine in the very centre of Kiev: Maidan . When you enter, the doorman will joke with you and ask you for the entry code, before sharing it with you: Borites! Fight!

I liked the burger for 98 uah-super tasty and good-sized(wasn't hungry till the end of day)The restaurant needs music though , as the silence during the meal seemed a little bit confusing

Very cool place - all dishes and alcohol and etc. is from locally sourced produce and producers. Try the vareniki , alcohol including Ukrainian Calvados, and take the tour - the interior is mindblowing

I don't even know where to start- this is undoubtedly in my top 5 favorite restaurants of all time. Make sure to try the borscht ! But to be honest, anything you order here will taste amazing.
