We live next door to the Red Lion and it's by far one of the best pubs in the town . It's small, has friendly staff and best of all, they wont let groups of dickheads in! The food is pretty special too
Super pub , nice inside, plenty of outside seating and good choice of local Ale .
Sunny day a table out the front is superb, pub has a great theme and nicely done out. Good selection of real ales and fish platter is a winner
The fish platter used to be bigger. The crab pate and crayfish had lettuce under them in their pots to make it look as though there was more. They hadn't done this the previous 2 times we had it.
Don't be tempted by the food the portions are unbelievably small.
Don't serve groups of people.

Great pub right on Weymouth beach. Try the mushroom soup and, if you're hungry go for the sirloin steak (worth the extra pounds compared to the rumpsteak) - Bruno B.
