This is the kind of history you visit a foreign country for! Literal ruins you can climb and explore. Beware the children - they'll knock you off your feet if you're not careful.
Come in Winter for beautiful views and ice skating on the frozen lakes . Come in autumn for beautiful weather and colours. Don't miss out on the black swans!
The ruins are interesting but the grounds/gardens are the highlight. Take a boat ride through the imperial landscaping
Nice place to visit no matter the season. The boat ride was well worth it.
The ruins is the main attraction , so buy the ticket that includes it at the entrance. Otherwise it'll cost more if you buy it separately inside
Highly recommended during spring. It would be more beautiful.
What a sad sight here and what a shame for this European armed coalition that ransacked this symbol of Chinese imperialism in 1900, not forgetting to destroy everything…
Cool European maze on the north west part
The site is quite large from enterance gate to the ruins is about 1.5km
The boats are definitely worth the 20 kuai per person.
Big park with weird ruins
Visit any park during Chinese New Year to experience beijing way of celebration.
Definitely worth paying for the "extra" parts.

O lugar é lindo, mas traga água . Embora encontre lugares ora comprar, são muito distantes um do outro.
1) enter from the east gate and walk toward the west; 2) must-see: 大水法，迷宫, the rest is fine and not really jaw-dropping. In a sunny afternoon, it's just a very pleasant stroll.
