With its vivid dining room and ambitious take on Mexican cuisine , Mi Tocaya may be your new go-to for tacos al pastor---or something completely different, like the rich and earthy fideos secos soup .
Medium and small plates , all of which are phenomenal interior Mexican dishes . The tacos are second to none. Get a Chicana 2.0 cocktail (they're all great though), tuetano, carnitas , and chuleta.
This new spot is a solid contender for a "go-to" taco spot on the blvd (esp in the summer). The veggie and meat ratio is fantastic, drinks are good, and the vibe is great. Def worth a visit.
Siddle up to the bar and order the steak burrito and bone marrow taco . While you're at it, strike up a conversation with Ulysses, the world's friendliest bartender . He's one big hearted dude!
No ????????. Had Sunday menu. Nopales+burrata - stingy on burrata . Salad pretty flat. Caldo de Res, amazing broth, ~one note after first bowl. Requested salsa for diversity. Want to come back for tacos .
Seasonal menu so will be changing soon.. but we did enjoy the mushroom flautas , deliciuos! Cocktails were awesome and the tres leches dessert best I had in years!
Everything is delicious here, but the elote is unmissable. (And I always ask to take the leftover salsa home—it’s just so damn good.)
The steak burrito . I know it's a gringo thing but it's really delicious!
You cannot go wrong here! Chef Diana has really honed her skills over the years and has hit a grand slam with her offerings here.
The menu description of the food is better than the food itself. The wine list is minimalist. The Enchiladas are more like Empanadas . There was only one waiter working for the entire outdoor area .
The beef short rib/bone marrow dish is AMAZING
The peanut butter y lengua is awesome and the chicken tacos had the best flavor.
