This beach has plenty of trees to help you find shade if necessary and a small stream where calmer water is available for those avoiding big waves.

Looking for something quieter than Hanalei beach ? Head west from Hanalei and park where the road has a u-bend. Follow the trail down to a beautiful secluded beach . And you can jump off the rocks!

Amazing 46-foot cliff jumping, long caves to swim through. Go with locals to avoid dying

Shana Summerhays

Watch out for the HUGE spiders that have massive webs on the rock cliffs near the lava tide pools . They are everywhere. Also, If you hear rustling in the trees don't be alarmed, it's just chickens .

Angie Chang

Unfortunately under the direct path of tourist helicopter tours so every 10 minutes or so, you will hear a helicopter overhead.

A nice beach with a little lagoon for when the surf is too rough for swimming .

Nina C

Don't leave anything in the car even by the busy road . Our window was smashed and luggage stolen. Locals say lots of ice (aka meth) heads hang out here...

Sean Murphy

Great for throwing a disc around.

Jason M.

Chickens should beware of doggies here. Major risk of life loss.
