Local bus No.17, from airport (in front of domestic terminal ) to Long Bien bus terminal (10 minutes by foot to Hoan Kiem lake ), 9,000VND, takes around 1hour 30minutes).

Vietjet bus from airport (in front of domestic terminal ) to Reunification park , 40,000VND, nonstop, takes around 50 minutes).

Free wifi , good connection too. Interior makes you feel like in the 80s, disappointing comparing to international terminal .

If you want to go to city center only 40.000 then turn write and walk 100mt fm the exit you will see bus to city center .

Taxi fare from the terminal to downtown Ha Noi, aprx. 350,000VND. But if you can find shuttle bus of 'Vietjet', the price is just 40,000VND to lake 'Hoan Kiem'. 1 time / 1 hour.

For a decent meal, check out Lucky cafe 1 and 2 on the 3rd floor above departure hall (land side)

Free wifi and ultrafast checkin / checkout for local flights. And you can book your Uber pickup at a specific exit :)

And yes, if you do smoke. Smoking lounge is beside Gate 6 (upstairs)

Be careful before sitting or buying sth from any cafe . They only accept Vietnamese dong. You should exchange before sitting/eating in any place.

As at 14 Nov 2021, almost shops are closed including Starbucks. I thought domestic terminal is better but still missing many things.

Not much to eat, if you have time take the free shuttle to the international terminal . There is a food court before security including a few large restaurants and a burger king

Bus 07 Cau Giay - Noi Bai. 6k VND, about 1h. Stop right inside the airport , very convenient.

Do not try 'Pho ' at sky coffee , they using too much MSG on soup , terrible tasty. If need, buy some snack or cake from outside of terminal, not inside.

City center costs: ~11 USD (Grab), 15 USD (via hotel reception), ~2 USD (shuttle , exit terminal, turn right)

Look for cheap travel pillows with memory foam. Confy and affordable

Safe, clean and a bit messy. ATMs and fast food only available at the international terminal .

Difficult to find veggie options . Almost all the food is with meat/bacon,.. etc.

Water bottles (less than a litre) can be taken through security!

JetStar has a bus to downtown (Old District) Hanoi for 40000 dong per person.

Thảm họa là băng chuyền hành lí toàn gom chung các chuyến với nhau nên rất lộn xộn khó kiểm soát, dân mình thì ồn ào như cái chợ, làm đủ trò lố trong lúc rảnh, nếu đi du lịch theo nhóm, ngán ngẩm

Cái sân bay thì nóng đến ngạc nhiên còn cư dân xuống máy bay bu lại kín cái belt khỏi cho ai lấy hành lý hết... Dzui ghê :))

An ninh sân bay sảnh quốc nội thái độ khó chịu!
