小堀遠州作といわれる庭園 。小さいながら池泉の中心とする回遊式庭園 で茶室 や中島もあり、上を見上げると男体山を借景で築山に見立ている雄大さも兼ね備える。輪王寺の本堂に入ってもここに入る人は少ないようですが、もったいない心地の良い庭園 です。
