Probably the best place for quality/price food! Their red fish soup and homemade pasta is a must. During surmmer after 9.30pm expect to wait for 20 minutes of you come without a reservation .

The bream fillet baked in phyllo pasta was super amazing. This was top of my food experiences. Really worth to visit and drink regular open wine . It’s still gorgeous

Seafood is fantastic here, fresh and well cooked. Prices are on par with other seafood restaurants but the Balbi's quality is way better. Give them a try and you won't be disappointed.

Amazing...go here! The homemade pasta with zucchini and tomatoes is ridiculously good as is their pasta carbonara and the fish (mussels and grilled squid ). All good. Definitely recommend.

Famous restaurant in the old town of Rovinj. No reservation and usually waiting time before getting a table. Fish & sea food . Home made pasta with truffles are delicious.

Balbi stands out in the sheer amount of average tourist trap restaurants around, everything we had was perfect. If possible make a reservation , it's crowded for obvious reasons....

Really delicious mussels and sea bass . During high tourist season, make sure to rsvp beforehand or you’ll be stuck waiting in line .

Excellent place- however they do not make reservations in advance, therefore take into account time at least 30 minutes waiting at dinner time (meanwhile you may sip some drinks in the bar opposite...

Great seafood . Nice atmosphere. Attentive staff . The mussels and grilled calamari were delicious.

Once you catch a table (and that's probably the most tricky part) everything is perfect,nice staff , great fish , tasty house wine , decent prices.

The starters are great. Main dishes not so great. Had way better food at Tipico old town . Staff is very friendly . The vegetarian pasta is made with a heavy cheese sauce that contains blue cheese . Fyi

Arrive before 19:00 or you'll have to wait for a free table. Barstaff is friendly but seems like they want you to finish asap. Tuna-steak was overcoocked. I like it red inside, not grey.

Wonderful service and a great breakfast ,they can do tofu so are great for plant based eaters which is rare in Istria.
