Good place to kick back and relax. Not a 5 star resort , but, it's clean friendly and has a ton of activities.

Our room is very nice, comfy bed and pillows , very nice view of the marina and lake . Love the wood and glass shop, black bear restaurant for dinner , and ice cream and candy shop.

Getting a massage with David at the WindJammer was fantastic! So professional and very knowledgable ! I'm definitely coming back!

Great place to spend an extended weekend. Has a vibe that isn't cheap but isn't too upscale either.

The outside phones are all over. They are in weathered boxes. Ask for a golf cart to take you up the steep hills and to marina docks.

Tan-Tar-A still isn't great, but they're working on it. The rooms need a LOT of work. However, each year we make it for our state convention there are some improvements. The lobby looks great!

Be sure to grab a map from the front desk/bell hop. It's a maze at first! The restaurants are on a lower level. Keep walking past the shops and go downstairs when you see light at the end of hall.

The 5k trail is no joke. Def not for beginners(like me)or for those w/ health problems. It's paved & a lot of up,down & around. Resort would be better with elevators . Hard carrying luggage up steps.

Request an updated room. Our room was dated and there were no elevators . Lots of stairs and had to haul our bags up and down. Restaurants and bar are nice. There should be a bar with views .

Nice staff . Pretty view . Dated resort , but a nice place to stay especially with a family. Nice girl's weekend.

Great vacationing spot. Be sure to check out the horseback riding !

Try staying at an estate as opposed to the resort ..Great lake views and the middle of the night you can hear the eerie sounds from the docks

Stayed here as a kid when it was tan tar a.. loved it then and even more now.

It’s not Tan tar a but it is still fun. The updates are nice the Jimmy Buffet music loop gets a little old

It's old and just outlived it time. I would rather go anywhere else.

Does it make sense for a server to ask you how do you want your Burger cooked? If when they bring it to you they are all cooked the same.
