Perfect educational day trip, not too depressing. Heifer does a lot of good in the world, and the gift shop is very eclectic . Tours of the energy efficient building are available Monday-Saturday.
Iconic building in the East of 30 area. Great for medium sized retreats and conferences in addition to the exhibits . Food is excellent at the café .
