friendly atmosphere . mostly old folks but good for family dining with kids, live band singing to the sound of music , and lambic beer to go with our meal. Great experience!

Liter & 2 liter boots of beer ! Food is also great! Annoyed-it said "cash only on Sundays and Wednesdays" on the door but it was a Monday and they didn't tell us until after that it was cash only ...

Delicious!!! I had the Paprikaschnitzel!! And ordered the snails for appetizers . The sauce was Sooo good, asked them for more bread to dip

The goulash is fantastic - we usually get one each and split the weisswurst-teller (white sausage plate ). The tap list is great, and there's a few german whites as well .

Your best bet is the bratwurst sampler and your choice of whatever's on tap , but be warned - the sampler is A LOT of food so either share it or be ready to take some home. Amazing red cabbage , too.

The goulash soup just warms the soul, so so good! Dip in your pretzel and its all over from there...

Amazingly delicious and huge portions to boot

The soup is $5 because it's mostly water, don't bother with it. The rest of the restaurant smelled great but I came in for a bite and a beer , the bite was bad and the beer overpriced.

Their Beef Goulash soup and German Shepherd's pie were featured dishes at Choice Eats

Beware the owners brought back their autographed Donald trump photo! Took it down got a lot of press but put it back up a week later. Yup wanted free press! Brooklyn Beet has a better schnitzel .
