This is a fantastic hotel with the best service, you can ask at the reception to wake you up for the northern lights while you are sleeping, they have a portier who checks every 15 minutes .

Try the salmon with strawberry champagne foam for the entree and puffin or reindeer carpaccio for the starter. This hotel is right next to prime salmon fishing spots !

Fantastic location, staff , facilities and restaurant . Lovely with our 4 year old who stayed and breakfasted for free as well as getting the odd treat.

Try calling even if it says sold out online. They often have rooms.

I wouldn't say amazing but all the food is worth a try! Try the horse, it's got a smokey taste that's unforgettable!

Expensive hotel - too warm in the rooms (you can't set the temperature) and yacuzzi in the rooms is often out of service! Bad for spending 42 isk x night x room

They have two delicious vegetarian entrees.

Common spaces nice. Service good. Rooms ok. Restaurant just ok. Northern lights wake up call is nice touch.

Try the smoked Puffin for a Desert , I love it!
