The Taj is a perfect hotel for the business traveler. Attentive, hospitable , and beautiful rooms at the heart of the city bowl prove for an overall amazing stay.
Old meets new at the Taj: elegant Heritage rooms—tufted headboards; original mullioned windows—in two restored landmark buildings offset the more modern Tower wing, with its private balconies .
With Family of young kids. Absolutely fantastic experience with family. Friendly staff , excellent hospitality of concierge . Enjoyed every bit of the place
Ask for a mountain-facing room above floor 10.
The hotel has great location in city center and the have one of best curries in town http://www.south-african-hotels.com/hotels/taj-cape-town-hotel/
For the kitchen: best food we’ve had in Cape Town last two weeks. Everything’s good. The curry is beyond.
The free wifi sucks. If you need to download important docs, cough up the R100 & buy the 4 hour access option. It's fast and a lot less frustrating.
Mapule is the best concierge ! Attentive, friendly and great insight to the best venues.
If you're thinking of ordering in, it has to be the crispy calamari and the mini bunny chow. You're welcome.
Ask for a room from the 10th floor & up. Mountain facing.
Luxurious , good wifi , great service, beautiful views . Bliss!
At breakfast ask your server for an Egg White omelet .... It is a delicious fluffy omelet beautifully presented.
The hotel spa is absolutely amazing.

Best Hotel in Cape Town
I'm surprised that a hotel like this doesn't have wifi sorted. Probably the worst wifi experience I've ever had. And a complaint to the front desk is greeted with a shrug.
Twankey bar has some nice oysters. Def for the begining of the month tho ;)
Lamb Briyani is good but service is awful!!
Hotel centralissimo, con camere molto grandi e dotate di tutti i confort che potete chiedere. C'è perfino la selezione di bicchieri da whisky . Presente palestra , sauna e piscina . Very nice!!!
Hotel de gama superior aunque un tanto viejo. El trato es excepcional. Se respira vieja colonia británica
