The larges are QUITE large (2 fishes ). You probably want medium, hungry boy. If it’s lunchtime you want the lunch special . Lunchtime is 11:30am to 3:00pm.
Best place for fish and chips in NYC. Only missing newspaper but that’s ok. The fish and batter are great.
If you go with 2-3 ppl just get one order of fries . They are MASSIVE and the fish fills you up big time so you just eat a few chips anyway.
The fish is top notch. Battered after you order. Fried in vegetable oil . Piping hot with no detectable salt added. Best tartar sauce I've ever tasted.
Haddock and scallops tasted great. Also sells this British lemonade that is super refreshing
They serve tartare sauce with their fish - a travesty! But the guy at the counter had a cockney accent so extra points for authenticity .
