Absolutely beautiful assorted flowers and trees scattered across a huge area ! Bring a picnic and sit in the rose gardens . So peaceful and quiet ! Definitely would recommend.
Nice gardens , huge variety of plants! Amazing rose garden with all possible colours. A few visitors, not overcrowded.

Do not follow the "Scenic lookout " signs all the way up the mountain if you're expecting to see anything spectacular. But this trail eventually leads off into Totara Park (10min jog up).
Beautiful free day out in Auckland. Bring a picnic and stroll around - so much green space and prettiness!

Do not take the ride in the train . Its much better and relaxing to walk around.
