Everything is great here! The ambience, the amenities , the food and the staff ! This place is good for honeymooners and also those with kids who want some privacy. The breakfast buffet also is great.

If you find the overnight rates too expensive , try the day pass worth Php2000-3000/pax. It comes with lunch buffet , free use of facilities (pool, jacuzzi , steam and sauna rooms , beach ). Relaxing here!

We enjoyed our stay here. Staff are well trained . There were kinks but not outside of reason. Check the Sea View room &ask about local rates. Food is pricey but great. The buffets are delightful!

For a carefree ride into town to SM or Ayala, shuttle bus runs for 150 one way. Just make sure you make note of where the shuttle bus is going. Made the mistake and ended up back at the resort .

Such a big place and with lots of things you get yourself preoccupied with....you won't even notice the big crowd! Service is world-class

Take the hotel 's shuttle from and to the airport . Very convenient and it doesn't cost much (php 200). Cheaper even compared to how much cab drivers ask (if not using the meter).

Check if your room has complimentary snorkel good for two and kayak for an hour!:) double check if it's complimentary just to be sure coz u might be charged!

The Shangri-la. Everything is nice, but too busy. Checking in & Breakfast was like a war-zone.

The stay is superb but breakfast @ Tides was over-rated. I was expecting something similar to what they have in Shangri-la Manila.

Over the yrs the Philippines has slacked A LOT in customer service. Where less than satisfactory service has sort of become the norm around here, this Shang has not succumbed to this yet. Book a stay.
