Built in 1899 as a tavern and whorehouse and supposedly haunted by many spirits . The basement and upstairs has the most activity. A young man who worked here died in the 1930s in his 2nd floor bedroom
Clean , very basic rooms & a lot of character (ex-brothel, shanghai tunnels , ghosts , etc.) Bands always play late into the night, so pack earplugs. Better yet, stay up with 'em & close down the saloon!
Fresh squeezed grapefruit juice ! The outside patio with fire pit and decent food are all good reasons to like the White Eagle!
The Saloon has daily live music , the hotel is quaint and historic and officially Mcmenamins happy hour is hard to beat

Great spot for low-key music not too far from the Rose Garden and Convention Center .
Great ambience, nightclub afterdark, nice lunch spot otherwise.
The rooms are clean and cheap , although stuffy in the summer. Not for the light sleeper (you can hear the music in the bar below) or those who are weird about their privacy (shared bathrooms/showers).
I ❤️ their fish n' chips . It was delicious.

stay for less than $60 per night!
It's an old elementary school with everything you could want for an afternoon of entertainment. I highly recommend watching a movie here on a weekday followed by happy hour at one of the bars. - Quintein

The tater tots, wraps and bowls are safe. For burgers I like the captain nemo. The beer is very tasty. Good place to bring kids. Great back patio off the parking lot. - Alanna Risse
