The fashion museum is great! There are a few weaknesses in their early modern displays, but it is still really interesting! Get the audio guide for sure!
Make sure you try on the Victorian costume . The corsets, petticoats and bonnets are so much fun.
Best time to visit is during term time in the afternoon, I had the whole museum virtually to myself
If your interested in fashion it's well worth a visit. If not then it isn't

Maybe we went on a bad day, but visit was awful. Only able to see 1 assembly rooms, and the fashion museum looked like it was half finished.

Wonderful Austen themed afternoon teas. Jane Austen blend tea is particularly delicious. Service is always friendly and welcoming. Recommend booking if a large party visiting at peak time - Holly
