Love the Renaissance. We have been going since our kids were young. Now we get to take our grandkids. We normally go the 1st weekend because it’s the coolest, runs till end of March which can be hot.
Sun screen is very important and enjoy the fun! Tell the flower girl to leave you alone. Insult/Compliment guy is very good. Food and drink is very good but a bit on the expensive side.
Bring sun screen, umbrella is also handy to block the sun, and closed toe shoe so your feet don't get nasty :) also stop by the siege the day booth and buy catapult so you can shoot marshmallows !!!
Working parking lot again this year best time to get here is when they open parking lot u park right up front when u leave ur right out the gate easy in fast out see ya when u get here!
Great food items: steak on a stick, grilled corn on the cob, turkey leg , scotch egg , pasty, bakery , soda pop, London broil, barely balanced.
Great place petting zoo , elephant rides, face painting , etc. Bring comfy shoes and get there early. Be prepared to walk a lot. But have fun.
If you go to school at ASU, around the time of the Festival you can find an add in the State Press to win FREE tickets. You send an email and you can win more than once! Fun to go and walk around.
